WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!!

Well, I finished Addy's Birthday Present and was about get it ready for it's trip to Louisiana when I realized that I couldn't send it off with making Cadence a little sumpin' sumpin', you know, how disappointed would she be when Addy gets a package in the mail and she didn't.  So, I made, heck, I don't know what I made, but, It states clearly on it's butt that it loves Cadence and lo and behold, it can ride a Unicorn Zombie.

Wings, Masks, Zombies and Unicorns

Been a little busy.  Trying to perfect my mylar wings, figuring out how to add fiberoptics to my projects, Tshirts that I promised, and creating unicorn Zombies.  Anyway, here are a few pics:

Look Closely, on his rear flank, you can see Addison's Zodiac Sign
My precious little Addison is turning 6 and this is what she wanted me to make her for her birthday. I love "Stuffed" Magazine from Somerset Studios and I let her choose what she would like for me to make for her.  Bless her heart, she's got my strange weird and unusual tastes.  Out of all the choices, this is what she fell in love with, which made me very happy cuz these are the kinds of things I like to make.

Zombie Eyes,  facial scars, and skulls.  oops, need to trim a thread

I just love this little skeleton guy!!

Oh, man, I have been wanting to add fiberoptics to my masks and finally, Voila!! I love it, but, it sure is hard to get a good shot of them lit up. so please excuse the blurriness of some of the photos.

Lit UP!

Luvin' It!

Added crystals

okay, I know, I know, it's blurry, but, it still looks cool
Finally, I have perfected my mylar wings. YeeeaaYaaaa!

I have added a small feather to this one, I think I'll leave it like that
I have added Swarovski crystals and sheer organza ribbons to all of these as well.

Pink and Black, what could be more elegant.  This is the Raven mask, a design from "Urban Threads".  My daughter, Marinda really hates the beak on this mask, so, I have made some without the beak.

OOOhh Loooord!! My brother had given me some shirts to make him a few graphic tees, and what do I do, I lose the whole bag of Tees.  I searched my car, my studio, and these shirts have just flown the coup.  I thought maybe I had left them at the church, but nooooooo! they have completely vanished.  I was too embarrassed to tell him that I had lost all his shirts, but, finally, I had to come clean.  So, he gave me a list of what he had and I went and picked them up, and finally, here are some of them.  I mailed them Saturday, so he should get them Monday or Tuesday.  UUuuugghhh!! Typical Me. Just another day in the mind or lack thereof of me.
This one is for Kohl, my nephew, He is a coach at HJ in Sour Lake, Texas

Mylar Wings for my Masks

Okay, here is my latest at an attempt to create my see thru wings.  I had never used mylar before, so, I was just winging it. (pun intended)  anyway, the mylar just fell out of the spaces because there was nothing to hold them in.  (Duh!)  So, I backed them with felt and that worked, and it looked okay, but I wanted some sheer wings.  Next idea, I'll digitize some lace and add them to the existing embroidery design.  (sounds simple, yeah, but, I don't know anything about digitizing)  Okay, I'm the type that will figure it out, so I did, and it worked.  This set has my lace insert, you really can't tell, cuz I used invisible thread, but, it's still not quite how I want it.  I'll update you on the progress .I am letting them dry with the stiffener right now, I'll let you how they turn out
